Lupe Fiasco To Perform "Food & Liquor" In Its Entirety In February

Lupe Fiasco will be celebrating his album "Food & Liquor" in February.

Lupe Fiasco's Food & Liquor is often regarded as one of the best hip hop albums that dropped in the 00's. As the years' pass, the album gets better and better. Next year will mark the thirteen year anniversary of the project. To celebrate, Lupe Fiasco will be performing Food & Liquor in its entirety in Los Angeles in February.

Lupe Fiasco announced a new concert in Los Angeles next year to celebrate his 2006 debut album, Food & Liquor. The show will take place on Sat. Feb 23rd, 2019 at The Novo in Los Angeles. Lupe will be performing the entire album in full during the concert. The rapper is set to bring some special guests as well, Gemstones and Matthew Santos. Santos is known for his work on the hook of Lupe's "Superstar" off of The Cool.

“The fans have been asking for it for a long time and the time finally felt right,” Lupe Fiasco said in a statement about the concert. "This album speaks to a really interesting, but special time in my career and it’s cool to be able to share that in a new way with everyone.”

Aside from his upcoming concert, Lupe Fiasco is fresh off the release of his album, Drogas Wave which arrived in October. Shortly after, he released his own remix to Lil Wayne's single, "Mona Lisa."
