The Green Bay Packers have agreed to terms on a four-year, $134 million contract extension with franchise quarterback Aaron Rodgers, which includes a record $57.5 million signing bonus and nearly $103 million in guarantees, according to multiple reports.

As part of the deal, Rodgers will earn more than $80 million by March, which works out to roughly $400,000 per day over the next 200 days, according to ESPN's Darren Rovell. With incentives, the total value of the extension could reportedly reach $180 million.

Per ESPN's Rob Demovsky:

"The total value of the extension could reach $180 million if Rodgers achieves $4 million in incentives, a source told Schefter. The source said Rodgers would receive $67 million before the end of the calendar year and more than $80 million before March 17, 2019."

Rodgers previously signed a five-year, $110 million extension in 2013 that included a $35 million signing bonus and a total of $54 million guaranteed. He was set to enter the regular season with two years remaining on his contract, which paid base salaries of $20.9 million this season and $21.1 the following year, according to ESPN.

The 34-year old perennial Pro Bowler is entering his 14th season in the NFL and is coming off a broken right clavicle that he suffered during a Week 6 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In 2013, he broke his left collarbone but bounced back to win his second NFL MVP the following season.

Green Bay will open up the 2018-19 season at home against the division rival Chicago Bears in a nationally televised game on Sunday, September 9. That game, airing on NBC, is scheduled to kickoff at 8:20pm ET.
