Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg, and Warren G are hip-hop legends. The three West Coast superstars could have continued on their separate walks of fame, but they decided to team up after "Ain't No Fun (If the Homies Can't Have None) displayed how well the trio sounded together. A new YouTube Original, called G Funk, is set to highlight the creation and success of the West Coast supergroup 213.

"When you're making magic, sometimes the ingredients don't come with instructions," states Snoop at the beginning of a new trailer for G Funk. Directed by Karam Gill, the new documentary interviews some of the key players in the West Coast hip-hop scene during 213's inception. "I've been trying to do my own documentary for a long time," Warren told Complex. "One day I was doing a show and met Karam and I told him 'Just follow me around, I want you to get some footage so I can have content for my website.' He got a lot of content. He was so good at it, I told him 'I want you to shoot my documentary.'" Snoop and Warren are only two of the big names involved with this documentary. Ice Cube, Wiz Khalifa, Ice T, Russell Simmons, E-40, Chuck D, Too Short, and more feature on the project as well. Watch G Funk exclusively on YouTube Premium starting July 11.
