When a Hellboy remake was officially announced, with Stranger Things lead David Harbour in the titular role, a small number of fans were dubious. Now, however, the tune appears to have changed. Perhaps it was the initial glimpse of Harbour in costume. It might have been the recent acceptance of the "R" rating, a promise that gore and curses shall flow freely. In any case, Hellboy is coming, and its latest trailer reveals Swole Demonic Mayhem, the likes of which we've never seen.

While the trailer does solid work in revealing the general plot, the overall tone is the true selling point. By all accounts, director Neil Marshall (who directed some gems, like The Descent, and several acclaimed Game Of Thrones episodes) seems to be reveling in the sheer mayhem of it all, bringing forth demons, sorceresses, rituals, jaguars, one-liners, and a solid cast. Should you be on the fence, check out this new Red Band trailer - it may work wonders in assuaging any doubts you might be harboring.
Look for Hellboy to hit theatres on April 12th. The film stars David Harbour, Mila Jovovich, Ian McShane, Daniel Dae Kim, Sasha Lane, Thomas Haden Church, and more.
