Nicki Minaj has solidified her status as a legend. Four studio albums deep, the Young Money rapper has continuously found her way on the charts, whether through solo efforts or star-studded posse cuts. Though recent months have found her at the center of several feuds, Minaj has kept her eyes on the prize throughout. With her latest project, Queen, achieving platinum certification in January, Minaj has since found herself hitting yet another sales milestone. It has been reported that Nicki has officially become the first female record with 100 million RIAA certified units, joining a hierarchy of absolutely heavyweight pop-stars.

Nicki now stands alongside Rihanna, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, and Mariah Carey, the top-five bestselling female artists in RIAA history. For some context, 8.5 million of Nicki's 100 million certifications have come from album sales. Nicki took to Instagram to celebrate the occasion, sharing an emotional message on her journey. "Couple more blessings every time we pray," she writes. "Can’t thank you enough for your continued support."
