Golden State Warriors' All-Star Kevin Durant and his media company, Thirty Five Media, have partnered with ESPN for a new business show called "The Boardroom," which promises to "bring fans behind the scenes of the modern boardroom, showcasing the evolution of sports business through the minds of athletes, sports executives and tech moguls alike," according to Kevin Ota of ESPN MediaZone.

The six-episode series, available exclusively on ESPN+ sometime next year, will be hosted by ESPN's Jay Williams with Jordan Schultz as a correspondent.

“We’re excited to partner with ESPN for this series,” Durant said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to bringing fans insights from some of the greatest minds in in the sports business world and show how athletes and thought leaders are changing the game.”

“This is a particularly interesting time for the business of sports. Players are increasingly evolving from business endorsers to active participants, decision makers, and owners,” said Connor Schell, ESPN’s executive vice president of content (H/T Deadline). “We are excited to collaborate with Kevin and Rich, who have both had a profound effect on the way that athletes interact with the business of sports and investment community.”

"The Boardroom" marks Thirty Five Media’s first partnership with ESPN - but like LeBron's SpringHill Entertainment media company - it isn't their only project in the works. According to Bleacher Report, Durant and his business partner Rich Kleiman are also producing a scripted series for Apple called "Swagger" and a documentary called "Q Ball," which will provide a look at the lives of incarcerated basketball players at San Quentin State Prison.
