A nighttime kick it session with the crew is the backdrop for YFN Lucci's visual for "Oct. 24," a single from the rappers acclaimed December 2018 release, 3: The Sequel. The EP featured only three tracks and begins with "Oct. 24," a song where Lucci puts his heart on wax and opens up to listeners. The Atlanta rapper shows how he's evolving as an artist while offering a vibe that breaks away from the club trap hits storming the radio waves.
For the visual, Lucci calls on his friends and a few bikini-clad, jacuzzi twerking ladies for a late night cookout at a luxury pad. Sure, Lucci flashes a few of his iced out jewelry pieces, including the layers of chains on chains, but he still manages to keep the energy lowkey. Lucci says that he knows how to balance his rap industry persona and his hometown life, and just because he's raking in cash now doesn't mean he has a difficult time penning verses about his come up. "Even though I’m in the rap world, I still go home," the rapper said. "All of my friends aren’t rich, so I know how they feel. I went through it 23 years of my life, so I got a lot to talk about. But sometimes you get in there it may take a while because you don’t know how you want to come. You don’t want everything to sound the same. But other than that, it’s always something to talk about."
