Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks will kickoff their 2018-19 NFL season on September 9 with a matchup against the Broncos in Denver. Ahead of the season opener, which is now less than two weeks away, Wilson gifted his wife Ciara with special edition turf shoe versions of his gameday cleats - so she can wear what he's wearing on the field, while she's watching the game at home on Sunday.
Ciara took to social media today to share a video of the exclusive sneakers, each of which includes an image of the Seattle skyline on the heel. Check out the footage in the tweet embedded below.
Last season, Wilson threw for 3,983 yards and 34 touchdowns to just 11 interceptions, in addition to 586 rushing yards and three TDs on the ground. The Seahawks finished second in the NFC West with a 9-7 record but missed out on a playoff spot.
Seattle opens up the 2018-19 season with a road game in Denver and a Monday night game in Chicago, followed by their home opener against the Dallas Cowboys.
