Serena talks about everything from her career to giving birth.

Serena Williams has pretty well done and seen it all when it comes to the world of tennis. The tennis superstar has won 23 major titles which puts her second all-time amongst her peers. Now Serena is being featured on the cover of Allure Magazine which was accompanied by a profile where she talked about everything from giving birth, her career, and her most recent comeback.

Williams started out by talking about how her and her sister Venus didn't have many people to look up to in tennis who looked like them. For Serena, it was up to her and her sister to be those role models. “Venus and I started out being successful, continued to be successful, and we were also unapologetically ourselves. We were not afraid to wear braids. We weren’t afraid to be black in tennis. And that was different,” Williams said in the article.

The tennis star also talked about her pregnancy which ended with an emergency c-section that could have killed her. Despite the near-death experience, Williams said “I loved being pregnant. I loved everything about it. I was one of those weird people that loved being pregnant. Those annoying people.”

As for her comeback, Williams was happy with how she was able to recover after her pregnancy.

“I’m feeling pretty good about my body. I worked hard at it in the past eight months to get back from the baby," Williams said. "It hasn’t been easy. I’m not 21 anymore. But I did it slow and steady.”
