She has a spitfire personality and speaks her mind if she feels the need to, but Chrissy Teigen doesn't like it when people make her feel as if she's a burden to her husband. The model, mom, and Lip Sync Battle host took to Twitter to express her displeasure with a regularly asked question that her husband John Legend, can't seem to get away from. In a thread, she pleaded with interviewers to stop putting her husband in that position.
"I feel like a very common question when interviewing John is basically 'how do you deal with your wife' and...I don’t love it," Teigen wrote in a thread. "It happens a lot. 'Does she ask you if certain things are okay to say?'...it’s just very weird to me. No. He doesn’t. I don’t care. And he doesn’t care. End of question. He usually does the standard 'No...she knows what she’s doing...” but it’s not even that. It’s just that I am a different human than him? It is theeeee most common question with him. Please stop."
Teigen added, "I’m not mad at anyone who has asked this. I get that we are very different. It happens a lot though and I’m just not very into it. You don’t ask me how I deal with watching MSNBC every night or what I do while he’s silent for a week." Legend came to his wife's defense by tweeting, "Yeah my wife is brilliant, savvy, funny as hell and clearly better at social media than me. She doesn't need my advice or censorship when it comes to how she communicates with the public."
Not to be outdone, Chrissy responded to Legend's message by jokingly tweeting, "Wow can I have one thing without you being husband savior? jk love you (can I say this? please let me know)." Legend replied, "You have my permission. Thank you for asking."
