Crooner TOBi recently arrived with his second offering of the year after a well-received "City Blues" cut earlier in the year. Now, the Nigerian-Canadian artist arives with a new clip to match the track "Sweet Poison." This time around TOBi dabbles in the topics of virtue and vice, artfully penning sweet nothings of the battle between the two over the backdrop produced by Nate Smith and Nahum.
“Sometimes we’re drawn to a particular type of poison, consciously aware that it’s not good for us,” TOBi said of the track in a statement. “In this song, I wanted to be open with my vices to show it’s a prominent part of the human experience.”.
He adds: "2019 is the year people may hear my name for the first time. I’m going consistently put out new work, starting with more visuals to accompany the music. I’m a multidimensional artist and I believe in breaking boxes, expectations and defying limits.”
