It's his third "Bear" Bryant award in four years.

It was a triumphant night for the Clemson Tigers football team on Monday when they upset the Alabama Crimson Tide with a 44-16 blowout victory. After the game, Tigers head coach Dabo Swinney claimed that his squad was one of the greatest teams of all time. Now, Swinney is being honored for his work with the team, earning the Paul "Bear" Bryant Coach Of The Year Award.

Swinney is no stranger to winning this award as it's his third such honor in four seasons. As he explained to ESPN, Swinney is going to have to make some space for the award.

"I've got plenty of room, so I'll stick this one right there by it," Swinney explained. "To have your name associated with this trophy and Coach Bryant is an honor. It's kinda like winning a national championship. ... Coach Bryant, the legacy that he left and example that he set for all of us coaches and for me, personally ... this is one of my heroes."

The Clemson Tigers will be one of the frontrunners to win the National title next season. They are headed into 2019 ranked #1 in the AP rankings and coach Swinney and his squad will most definitely be hungry to repeat as champions.
