Cardi B and Bruno Mars leave stockings on their respective doors.

A few weeks back, Cardi B and Bruno Mars linked up to deliver the bawdy bedroom jam "Please Me," which found the pop superstar openly indulging in a bit of X-rated fun. Taking to a smooth, funk-inspired instrumental, Cardi wastes little time in conjuring all manner of pornographic fantasies. "Lollipoppin',  twerkin' in some J's, on the dance floor, no panties in the way," raps Cardi, in the opening verse. In fact, the majority of her lyrical content is enough to have radio employees in shambles, scrambling for a "clean version." After all, "Finesse" was such wholesome, nostalgic fun.

This time around, the visuals are appropriately sensual, with Cardi once again turning in a magnetic performance. That's not to say Bruno doesn't hold it down, but his presence feels somewhat muted in comparison; the straight man to Cardi's dynamo. Yet it cannot be denied - the pair are developing a fun, dare I say breezy manner of chemistry. It will be interesting to see where they take it next.
