Tupac's former Outlawz affiliates don't buy into the theory "Orlando Anderson" was behind the trigger.

Mutah Wassin Shabazz Beale aka Napoleon of the Outlawz sat down with The Art of Dialogue for a tell-all interview in which the subject of Tupac Shakur's murder case was "given new life," so to speak. The Outlawz were incidentally a group founded in 1995 after Tupac returned from prison in the Makaveli phase of his artistic and personal development.

At about the 3-minute mark, the conversation really takes off as Napoleon suggests that Suge Knight was as much a target as Tupac in the shooting, thus exonerating him of any culpability. The story which has stood in the years following the initial LAPD investigation is that Orlando Anderson, a member of the South Side Crips, was the suspected shooter in the September 7, 1996 shooting following the Tyson-Seldon fight in Vegas.

Not so, according to Napoleon, who was informed by fellow Outlawz member Yaki Kadafi that "eyewitness" information existed on account of him seeing the shooter with his own eyes. Kadafi was with Tupac the night shots rang off from an adjacent vehicle, and unfortunately he too would succumb to his death later that month.

“Kadafi actually seen the person who killed Pac," Napoleon told the interviewer. "He said the guy looked right at him, he pulled the arm out and saw the shooting you know what I mean. They witnessed it, the Outlawz was there but Kadafi seen the guy. The guy looked at Kadafi and Kadafi looked back at him."

"And Kadafi didn’t expect, he didn’t know what was about to happen until he seen an arm come out the window," he continued. "I don’t think it was Baby Lane (Orlando Anderson), the one who Kadafi seen."

If at all plausible, the Outlawz as a collective, don't buy into the theory of Orlando Anderson getting behind the trigger. Unfortunately, Yaki Kadafi whose eyeball testimony is being held in high esteem was unwilling to cooperate with LAPD in the direct aftermath of the shooting. Check the interview below.
