Chief Keef was home the whole time.

Chief Keef did not enjoy the end of his weekend. The Chicago rapper was the victim of an attempted robbery last night at his San Fernando Valley home but, luckily for him, the police was already aware of the situation as it was happening.

There have been a string of robberies in the area as of late. In Fact, Los Angeles Dodgers star Yasiel Puig has been a target a handful of times. Keef is said to have been home during the ordeal but he allegedly didn't hear anything out of the ordinary. TMZ delivered the report, saying that three burglars were allegedly caught after breaking into the 23-year-old's home, with one of them opening fire after being discovered. So far, nobody is said to have been injured. All of this went down at around 11:15 PM on Sunday and at least one of the would-be robbers was making off with some of Keef's belongings. LAPD officers were already on site, patrolling the area in plain clothes due to the increase in attempted crime and they were able to catch two of the men with a third making a getaway.

The two people captured by police are currently being held on burglary and weapons charges. Cops spoke to Keef after the events and he said he had no clue the burglars were in his home, even though they used a brick to break in. Of course, this is just the latest in a string of attempted burglaries that have taken Los Angeles and the Valley by storm.
