Tiger Woods is back!

Tiger Woods has had a rough few years. First, a cheating scandal rocked his career, and he lost almost all of his sponsors and endorsements after it was revealed he had sexual affairs with multiple women. In the midst of the scandal, Woods crashed his vehicle and injured himself bad enough to cancel his tournaments for the time. Woods and his wife divorced due to his infidelity. Then, last year, Woods was hit with a DUI charge. The bad news seemed to come in abundance for the talented golfer.

Today (September 23), Woods overcame his struggles and won his first tournament since 2013. He walked away as the winner of the 2018 Tour Championship. After the emotional win, Woods claimed that this victory was different from his long list of other wins. Via GolfweekWoods stated, “It’s certainly up there with obviously all the major championships I’ve won, Players, World Golf Championships. But this is under different circumstances. You know, I’ve explained throughout the year that I just didn’t know whether — when this would ever happen again. If I could somehow piece together a golf swing this year, I felt like I could do it. My hands are good enough, and I just didn’t know if I could piece together a golf swing.”
