Edward Norton may have acted in The Incredible Hulk a decade ago but he's still cracking jokes about the studio that produced it. Marvel Studios is one of the biggest film production companies in the world, releasing some of the most profitable blockbusters that the world has ever seen. From Avengers: Infinity War to Captain America, Marvel is everywhere these days. It was no surprise for there to be a few Marvel references during Comedy Central's Roast of Bruce Willis, which aired Sunday, but the most likely source of the jokes had to have been Edward Norton and he absolutely came through.
Unfortunately, the man did not transform into the Hulk, that was simply his character, but he did hit the production studio with some Hulk-size disses. When discussing Bruce Willis' care-free attitude during the roast, Norton turned the attention on himself since he has been rumored to be the opposite. The actor said, "I tried to be like you. I did a big action movie called The Incredible Hulk. You know what went wrong? I wanted a better script." He wasn't done there, though as he continued throwing shots, joking, "I thought we should try to make one Marvel movie that was as good as the worst Chris Nolan movie, but what the hell was I thinking."
Norton wasn't the only one dishing out jokes as a few other roasters gave him a hard time for being replaced by Mark Ruffalo in the latest Hulk appearance. Did you catch the roast on Sunday?
