Ski Mask The Slump God is pushing back his upcoming album because it was lacking a special something.
In a Twitter post published in the wee hours of the morning, Ski Mask advised his fans to hold on just a wee bit longer. The message read: "So Guys I’m Pushing The Album Back Not Far But To Make Sure Everything Is Perfect." He then added that as a consolation for the delay, he would release two music videos "very soon" and that his gambit would certainly pay off if they saw it through to the end -- I gather they have little choice but to sit still.
As evidenced by his recent activity on social media, Ski Mask The Slump God has been in Atlanta recording the project with the likes of J.I.D, Danny Towers, and Juice WRLD. Collaborations with producers such as Kenny Beats, Chase The Money and Christo have been reported of-camera. They too could all figure in Ski Mask's plans for the delayed project.
Ski Mask was in rare form this week when he previewed his vocal part over an unconfirmed instrumental he likens to a Pharrell Williams-type production if you will. For what it's worth, Ski Mask's pushback will only heighten expectations for the project once it's officially announced. Stay tuned.
