The Wu-Tang Clan stormed on set to mark Jimmy Kimmel's return to Brooklyn.

The Wu-Tang Clan fulfilled their Friday night booking on Kimmel Live! with a performance of two of their most fabled songs. Kimmel's annual return to his hometown of Brooklyn came replete with a score of high profile musical guests including the Wu, Eminem, and even Cardi B in a non-musical "sit on the couch and make chirping sounds" capacity.

The performance(s) marked the 25th anniversary of the group's legendary debut Enter the Wu-Tang 36 Chambers, in which the host introduced the group by clutching a vinyl copy of the album up to his microphone. To this day I have yet to decode the "Tevin Campbell" line in "Protect Ya Neck," nor do I care to ruin the mystique of unknowing. The performance of "Protect Ya Neck" is a spectacle to the eyes and ears; notice the individual sharing Ol Dirty Bastard's likeness and performing his verse is his actual son.

Before commencing "C.R.E.A.M," RZA politely asks the Brooklyn crowd if they can take it back to Staten Island for a just a moment. The crowd obliges and Raekwon begins his iconic intro. A seasoned Inspectah Deck still towers above everyone in height, save for Ghostface who sat on the side of the stage with a water bottle while his mates carried on. The Rebel INS had me fooled for JB Smoove in those black-rimmed glasses.
