Apparently, when you mix up a Lamborghini, plenty of cocaine, Don Cheadle in an afro and you run it all back with Lil Wayne's "Uproar" in the background, you get the makings of what seems to be a promising new offering from the good people over at SHOWTIME.

In their latest endevaor, the network has recruited Cheadle, Andrew Daniels, Regina Hall, and even Kevin Durant for a grandiose account of the 1987 stock market crash in the aplty-titled Black Monday series, taking on the epithet of what was one of the worst economic occurences in the world's history.

On the anniversary of the fiasco that took place on October 19th, SHOWTIME has dropped the series' official trailer, highlighting the dark comedic themes of the show, all powered by an all-star cast led by Cheadle, Daniels, and Hall while employing the talents of Bruce Dern, Horatio Sanz and more.

The actual cause of the 1987 stock market crash is still unknown and has been left up for debate among analysts for decades, but this retelling of the story places Cheadle's character, Mo, at the center of it all. As Deadline reports, the series is "the story of how a group of outsiders took on the blue-blood, old-boys club of Wall Street and ended up crashing the world’s largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine and the glass ceiling."

Black Monday is epxected to arrive in January 2019, until then enjoy the theatrical trailer down below.
