“Taste” may very well be a signal of the comeback for which Tyga fans have been feening.
Produced by D.A. Doman and featuring a valuable appearance from Offset, the track boasts an addictive and summer-ready sound that’s already found itself invading speakers and airwaves around the world. So, when Post Malone kicked off his two-day tour stop at Los Angeles at Hollywood Bowl Wednesday evening, it was only right that he invited the California-bred emcee to perform a live rendition for the crowd.
In a brief clip, Tyga shared on Instagram of the moment, as Post introduced him by having the crown chant, “Tyga” before he graced the stage. He would embrace Post and in no time at all, the familiar intro would drop.
Tyga, however, wasn’t the only one in a lineup of special guests to join Post onstage for the sold out show. Fans were also treated to appearances from Swae Lee, who rolled through for the duo’s collab “Spoil My Night,” found on beerbongs & bentleys before erupting into Rae Sremmurd’s own “Powerglide.”
YG would also join Posty onstage for the two’s “Same Bitches” collaboration before YG took to it solo to deliver on his own “Big Bank” single.
For a slow down in the pace, Post also brought Miguel for a rendition of the singer’s “Sky Walker.”
Naturally, it was only right that 21 Savage, who opens up the set, would come back out—as is the norm at most shows on the run—for the duo’s collaborative “Rockstar” smash. Things would close out with Post gifting fans with a guest appearance with Quavo, so the two could dive into Stoney’s “Congratulations,” and that was only the first night.
