Chevy Woods is a busy man. HNHH had the chance to sit down with the Taylor Gang rapper during a stop on the "Under The Influence" tour, in which he revealed some of the many projects he has going, as well as shedding some light on his early days working with Wiz Khalifa.
"I've actually been working on it for a year," Chevy said of his upcoming Gangland II mixtape, which he explained was partly due to the fact that he is working on his debut album simultaneously.
However, it seems as if the project is nearing completion. "A few days ago we narrowed down the songs for Gangland II," he revealed. "It took a lot of input and a lot of people to put it together."
As for Chevy's next single, it's also something he's still narrowing down. "I've got a few tracks that I want to produce. I've got a track called 'Sledgren', it's produced by Sledgren, and I've got a track called 'Js' produced by C4. It's a toss up right now. We're deciding what we're gonna drop next."
The Taylor Gang rapper also spoke of his early days working with Wiz Khalifa as a teenager."We were just making music to listen to for ourselves, but he had a bigger picture than I thought it was gonna be." he said. "I just stood beside him and put aside what I had to do as a solo artist. The bigger picture was for what we're doing now."
