This new "Joker" film looks interesting...

Ok, I'll admit it. At the first mention of a Joaquin Phoenix Joker movie that exists outside of DC's already established movie universe, I was skeptical. How could there be two Jokers running around the movie world at once? We already have Jared Leto firmly planted as The Joker in the DCEU. Now, Warner Bros. is planning a standalone film based on the crime prince as well. As time prods along, it appears that movie studio knows exactly what they're doing. Director Todd Phillips released a quick teaser for the film that places Phoenix in Joker paint, but now, fans get live action footage of a scene from the movie.

In the scene, Phoenix steps off a subway train while frightened communters run in panic. It appears that The Joker has caused some type of trouble on the train, as he exits calmly while everyone else scatters in fear. There are other people in the packed subway wearing Joker masks, but they don't seem to be privy to Phoenix's plans for mayhem.

The still-untitled Joker film stars Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Marc Maron, and Bryan Callen. Martin Scorsese sits as the producer, which means you should expect this one to get bloody.
