The Indiana Pacers spanked the Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night at Bankers Life Fieldhouse amid rumors that the Lakers are eager to ship out their young core in a deal for Pelicans' All Star Anthony Davis.
As seen in the videos embedded below, Pacers fans were all over Brandon Ingram from the jump - chanting "LeBron's gonna trade you" while he was at the free throw line.
Of the chants, Ingram said, "I heard it. I still made the free throws. I've been through and I've heard worse, way worse things in my life. But it is what it is."
Following the 42-point loss, LeBron told reporters:
"I know it has to be tough on a lot of our guys, especially our young guys," James said. "Right now, they've just never been a part of it and they're hearing it every single day -- and I know that the worst thing that you can do right now is be on social media. And I know all young guys love social media. So, that definitely can't help."
With 28 games remaining in the season, the Laker are currently sitting at 27-27, just 2.5 games back of the Los Angeles Clippers for the eighth seed.
Up next is a three-game road trip that includes stops in Boston, Philadelphia and Atlanta, starting with a nationally televised showdown against the Celtics on Thursday night.
