Carnage & Prinze George make some beautiful music together.

Carnage has proven himself to be a versatile producer, lacing bangers across a variety of genres. Today, the DJ takes it back to the clubs, conjuring up a low-key banger in "Letting People Go." With effective use of thirds on deck, Carnage's guitar arrangement is melancholic in nature; juxtaposed against the pulsating dance-ready kick drums, the track's overall vibe hits a wide range on the emotional spectrum. For the most part, Carnage opts for a minimalist touch, neglecting to bury the track in unnecessary bells and whistles.

Clearly, Carnage has put a lot into "Letting People Go," reflecting on the track via Twitter. "today we change music forever.... thank you to everyone who helped me take these risks," he writes. "this record means everything to me."

The sparse instrumental allows vocalist Prinze George to shine, as she mixes self-reflection with haunting, harmonious wails. There's an eighties-inspired indie touch to her vocal performance, ghostlike in the closing section. Quotable Lyrics

Come to me, come to me in the night time
When your new friends are nowhere, nowhere to be found
Run to me, I met you halfway our whole lives and now I'm done
Come to me, come to me in the night time
When your new friends are nowhere, nowhere to be found
Run to me, I met you halfway our whole lives and now I'm done
