Earlier in the month, 2 Chainz announced his intent to bring back his famed Pink Trap House with a twist, teaming up with the legendary 13 Stories Haunted House company to gift us with the Haunted Pink Trap House. While the first iteration was located near Atlanta's Northside on Howell Mill Road, this time around the house will be hosted in the city of Newnan, a part of the metropolitan Atlanta area, about 40 miles southeast of the city itself.
Most recently, 2 Chainz and the Street Execs team hosted a sneak peek of the attraction open to celebrities and local influencers in Atlanta and from that sneak peek a few things have revealed.
Guest can expect an experience that lasts for a least one hour, with a house that features custom artillery and a maze. The house is divided into three phases, the haunt, zombie hunting and even a blindfolded portion with the option to opt out of any phase.
Among those in attendance were singer Keri Hilson, who spoke with Atlanta's NBC affiliate 11 Alive before she entered the home. According to the interview, the East Atlanta-bred singer-songwriter expected the scary motifs of the home to stem from real-life situations often faced when it comes to the actual surroundings of a trap house.
"I'm from eastside, I'm from Decatur, so when I hear trap house, I'm hoping it's like a police raid or an FBI raid or something," she said. "I'm hoping there [are] some dogs chasing you."
She even referenced the idea of having to run from gunshots or junkies as well, while it would have been a creative twist on a haunted house, it looks like 2 Chainz took a bit more traditional route as opposed to Hilson's own aspirations.
Nonetheless, the Haunted Pink Trap House will open its doors Saturday night (September 22) and will last through November 11th. Tickets and information can be found here.
