Earlier this year Nike and Playstation teamed up for a special edition colorway of Paul George's signature sneaker, the Nike PG2. As it turns out, that's not the only Playstation inspired colorway of Paul George's signature line coming out this year.
Following in the footsteps of the Playstation PG2 release is a Playstation Nike PG 2.5, which is reportedly built on a white and grey colorway accompanied by multi-colored accents and other PS detailing throughout the upper.
“I just had a knack for video games,” George explained to Nike. “As soon as I discovered PlayStation, I was throwing hints here and there to my dad — cutting out the clipping of a video game, cutting out the clippings of the PlayStation, leaving it on his dresser. I remember on Christmas morning, I unwrapped my gift and sure enough, it was the PS2. I've been a PlayStation guy ever since.”
Images of the Playstation Nike PG 2.5 have not yet surfaced, but mockups (shown below) will give you a taste of what to expect. As of now, it is believed the kicks will release sometime this Fall, in either late October or early November.
