Following the Floyd Mayweather diss "Fu*k Ni**a," T.I. has once again come through with another new track, this time tapping fellow OG Snoop Doggy Dogg. The collaboration arrives, rather appropriately I might add, after Tip went on record comparing himself to the legendary 2Pac Shakur. Lest we forget Pac and Snoop's triumphant collaboration, "2 Of Amerikkka's Most Wanted." Yet another parallel in favor of the self-proclaimed trap inventor. As for the track itself, "Playas Ball" keeps a low-key, yet admittedly tense vibe. Makes sense, given the ball's volatile nature; as the song professes, don't step out of line or things might go left, even in a semi-formal setting.
"I'm blowin' reefer in the ride, Mike Jackson the vibe, with a pretty young thing on the passenger side," spits Tip, once again riding for the King Of Pop's legacy. The drawl runs heavy as Tip issues warnings at any challenger, while Snoop Dogg asserts his old mantra of "pimpery pays." "Never mind me, nor my mink on the floor," spits Snoop, as he tiptoes down the Blue Carpet. Check out "Playas Ball" now, and keep a lookout for some new TIP music.
Quotable Lyrics
I'm blowin' reefer in the ride, Mike Jackson the vibe
With a pretty young thing on the passenger side
The .45 in the cut in case n***a nut up
Police get behind me, I'ma pass it to her
Mink coat to the floor since I did it with Puff
Showed a lot of y'all what 'gettin' it' was
