The Roots once said on their track "You Got Me" that "sometimes relationships get ill." That looks to be the case for Sauce Money and onetime friend and collaborator, Diddy. Rapper and ghostwriter Sauce Money has come out with a slew of accusations against the rap mogul on social media, and he's decided to voice his frustrations on a diss track titled "Love Tap." For those that are unfamiliar, Sauce and Diddy worked together on a few projects, including the Grammy Award-winning "I'll Be Missing You," a tribute song to the late Notorious B.I.G. According to Sauce, Diddy never fully gave him what was due, but the rapper shared on Twitter that his grievances aren't all about money.
"Money is not my master," Sauce wrote. "Fame and celebrity don’t matter. Treating people with respect and doing things the right way is all I’m concerned with. Some people will try to use their status and oppress others. Especially their own kind!"
Quotable Lyrics
Don't be alarmed my n***a
This is just a love tap
Cool with you muthaf***a, ok I was that
Kept it real 'cause I wasn't hip to your trick
Should've flamed your ass in '06
Did the drugs make you forget
Who it was who wrote your biggest hit
