In a strange and impersonal move, Maryland rapper IDK (formerly Jay IDK) jumped in YBN Cordae's comment section to let his fans know a diss record was coming his/their way. What made the pronouncement all the more strange was how IDK spoke of Cordae in the 3rd person. As far as we know, Cordae and IDK have no recorded history of beef. In fact the following Tweet seems to be singing YBN Cordae's praises along with a host of other rappers IDK deems ready to blow.
The case against IDK is slightly confusing considering the lack of evidence placing both rappers at the scene of a crime. One would be wise to consider "YBN Cordae diss track coming soon," as baseless words simply meant to stir the pot. Then again, YBN Cordae came out swinging with fairly pointed arguments when he released "Old N****s," his response to J. Cole, who at the time, seemed to be distancing himself from the current generation of rappers.
The post Jay IDK commented on makes no reference to anything or anyone. Cordae simply posted a picture of himself leaning against the wall in an elevator, with the caption "All gas no breaks." The following image is made available by image via YBN Cordae's Instagram profile.
