New York City duo Lion Babe are back with some new heat for your weekend listening pleasures. As they prepare to release their upcoming project, they've recruited Raekwon for their new single, "Western World." Their new single is their latest offering off of Cosmic Wind which is set to drop later this month. The song addresses isolation in a modern day while finding happiness on the dancefloor. The song interpolates Pet Shop Boys' single, "West End Girls." Raekwon swoops in to handle his verse on the track.
“It’s about the current climate of our American culture and soul,” Lion Babe said in a statement. “Honored to have Raekwon help paint this wild picture of the present.”
Keep your eyes peeled for Lion Babe's new album Cosmic Wind due out on March 29th.
Quotable Lyrics
And have you flooded in jewels, too
Usually hidin' in Peru with the crew, with get-downers
Yeah, y'all know us as Midtowners
Party with us and pop bottles, them Desperados
Rollin' up L's in Los Cabos
