Playboi Carti paid tribute to Fredo Santana during his recent concert. The rapper is seen performing his intro track to Die Lit, "Long Time" while crouched down while covering his face. "I miss Fredo like a motherfucker," he told the crowd in the middle of the song while he wiped the tears off.
The death of Fredo clearly had an impact on Playboi Carti. On his latest project, he teamed up with Young Nudy for the song "R.I.P Fredo (Notice Me) which was produced by Pi'erre Bourne.
Although it's been nearly seven months since Fredo Santana passed, his cause of death was confirmed earlier this month. The rapper was found unresponsive in his home by his fiancée and was rushed to the hospital. The rapper passed away from a cardiovascular disease, according to the autopsy report. The medical examiner's report also said that idiopathic epilepsy was a contributing cause to his death back in January.
