Kevin Smith sets the record straight.

Kevin Smith is like the nerd ambassador. Although he is a famous director and actor himself, Smith has been so ingrained in comic book and sci-fi culture that he is more famous for his fandom than he is for directing Clerks or Dogma. It has long been rumored that Smith would combine his love for fantasy with his directorial skills. He has been "attached" to several projects over the last decade, but now the legendary fan and director is setting the record straight.

One fan of Smith's work took to Twitter to ask when the masses would receive a Star Wars or Marvel Cinematic Universe film directed by him.  “Waiting on @ThatKevinSmith to confirm or deny these @MarvelStudios or @starwars🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔 also keeping my fingers crossed🤞🏾🤞🏾🤞🏾,” wrote the fan. Smith responded with some heartbreaking news. "Easy to deny. The only @starwars or @MarvelStudios movies I’m involved with are the ones I pay to see in theaters. Promise," he wrote. Fans of Smith have been worried about the director's health after he suffered a massive heart attack earlier this year. Even if we won't get a Smith directed Star Wars or Marvel film, the majority of his supporters are content with the fact he is back in good health.
