It was just a few weeks ago that we learned SAINt JHN signed a deal with Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke’s new venture Circle of Success Management Company, and now today he’s back with his first single under it called “Trap” featuring ATL’s Lil Baby.
Over production from f a l l e n, the Brooklyn artist shows off a catchy, high pitched cadence and croons about his trapping lifestyle, while Baby delivers his signature melodic verse and reiterates the same sentiment about life in the streets. “TRAP, it’s self-explanatory,” SAINt JHN said.
Off his upcoming Ghetto Lenny Love Songs album, take a listen to the melodic collab and let us know what you think. Single available on iTunes.
Quotable Lyrics:
Trap, only thing we ever had to do was trap
I was breaking down barriers and now switched it with rap
Lil Shawty was the man, like damn nigga, what happened?
Ima keep chasing the money, as far as I ever see
Had to kick my double-cup, feel like it was killin' me
I was sittin' in the spot, ain't never missed a beat
If I'm feelin' in my heart, I'ma put it on a beat, like
- Lil Baby
