A casting call for a TV Pilot based on XXXTentacion's life opened its casting call for actors earlier in the week. Base Entertainment, a production company whose specialty is live-house shows and performances, is behind the project. They have opened auditions in the hopes of finding an actor with glaring similarities to XXXTentacion.
As of Today, the project does not have a title.
The casting call for the role of "XXXTentacion" is open to men "confident yet not overtly cocky." They are also looking for someone who fits his physical description within a range of 5 feet, 4 inches and 5 feet, 8 inches. The successful recruit will be asked to join the rest of the cast in shooting the pilot during the months of January and February 2019, in Los Angeles. The casting call at backstage.com doesn't link back to Base's official webpage, but the two companies are known to have an arrangement. Backstage has given them leads on acting talent in the past, namely for live shows associate with the Magic Mike franchise, and at the behest of entertainers like Criss Angel and Wayne Brady, who were in need of supplement talent, once before.
Bear in mind, a TV Pilot is the farthest thing from a sure thing.
