It's been nearly two years since Freddie Gibbs and Curren$y announced their joint project, Fetti. The two announced the project in January 2017 and since then, we haven't heard much about the joint effort, but they've released several solo projects since then. While it may have been some time since either of them have spoken about the project, Spitta just came through with some exciting news.
Curren$y revealed that his part of Fetti is finally completed and now, he's just waiting on Freddie Gibbs to wrap up his parts. In addition, he also revealed who'll be holding down the production on the track.
"It's approximately 3:56 a.m.. Just leaving the studio," he said. "This message is to one Frederick Gibbs. My half of Fetti is done, all produced by Alchemist."
It looks like at this point, we're just waiting on Freddie Gibbs and hopefully, we'll get the project soon. Gibbs is fresh off the release of his album, Freddie which he released June. Fans are also waiting for Bandana, the long-awaited follow-up to Gibbs' collaborative effort with Madlib.
As for Spitta, he's fresh off of the release of his latest project Fire In The Clouds which dropped at the end of August. In addition to Fetti, Curren$y also teased the sequel to How Fly mixtape with Wiz Khalifa. Although it appeared as if they were plotting on releasing it this past summer, clearly that wasn't the case.
