Game Of Thrones' final season is only months away. Even with the epic conclusion right around the corner, fans have little idea what will transpire on the show's eighth season. There are only a few people who have seen all six of the final episodes, and HBO chief Richard Plepler is one of them. Plepler spoke with Variety about his reaction to watching the final season of HBO's hit series, and his answer will only make you more impatient for it to drop.
“It’s a spectacle. The guys have done six movies," Plepler stated. "The reaction I had while watching them was, ‘I’m watching a movie.' They knew the bar was high. They’ve exceeded the bar. I’ve watched them twice without any CGI and I’m in awe. Everybody’s in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production.” Although the final season of Game Of Thrones will only contain six episodes, rumor is that each of those episodes will run for 90 minutes. HBO did drop off a teaser for the series this past weekend, which only featured a scene of Sansa Stark welcoming Daenerys to Winterfell, with Jon Snow by her side. Although a happy ending would be satisfactory, I don't expect that romance to end any better than previous Targaryen relationships.
