The Hate You Give is now in theatres and so far the film has been getting rave reviews. The flick is based off Angie Thomas' novel of the same name about a young girl who witnesses her friend get shot and killed at the hands of a white police officer. The cast and crew have been doing a number of press interviews for the movie so far and when Bossip caught up with the crew, Regina Hall revealed one thing she wants to know about Tupac.
The title of Angie's book is based off Tupac’s THUGLIFE philosophy so the crew, Regina, Algee Smith, Angie, and director George Tillman Jr. were asked about Pac's legacy.
"I just thought he was so cute, you know what I mean, I mean look at the lashes," Regina said of Tupac. "You know I'm from his time. He was living amongst us so sometimes [...] you don't even realize that things are going to resonate for decades. So during the time he was just one of the fine ones. When I met him I was like "Tupac is really cute." Who boned Tupac, I need to know! That was my goal, was he good?"
