Hill is a straight up G.

Jemele Hill is officially winning. Reports state that her split with her longtime employer ESPN has been quite fruitful. The public figure is leaving the television network with a deal that earns her close to $6 million.

The agreement is based on a multi-year contract she signed in 2016. Contrary to some people's belief, Hill was not ousted from her office. Sources who are familiar with her negotiation affirm that she departing from the company on her own terms, having asked to be released from her position back in July, shortly after the ESPY awards. The media personality will be officially stepping down from her role as of September 1.

Jemele Hill is already focusing on future projects. She and her longtime friend Kelley L. Carter recently launched their own media company called Lodge Freeway Media. Together, they have a vision of providing content in integrity through a woke perspective.

Many people have rallied around Hill ever since she voiced her political opinions online last year. Her use of her right to free speech resulted in a two-week suspension.  Marc Pitaro, the new president of ESPN, stated that the network aimed to broadcast objective content:

“Our focus is on covering the news in an exemplary fashion. To be fair, balanced and making sure we have the facts right,"
