Justin Bieber has made his return to the charts with the release of "No Brainer," the DJ Khaled-helmed single that reunites 3/4 of the artists from last summer's No. 1 single "I'm The One" (plus producer Nic Nac), but we likely won't be getting a follow-up until after his wedding to Hailey Baldwin. TMZ caught up with the singer as he got out of his car alongside Baldwin this week to find out "what's next" for the artist who released his Purpose album in 2015.
"What's next? I'm getting married," he said, suggesting that his focus is not on music for the time being. However, he seems confident that fans can make do with "No Brainer" for the time being. "You like the new song?" he asked, "Fire, right? Straight flames."
Justin reportedly proposed to Baldwin in the Bahamas earlier this summer after the two had only been dating a number of weeks. They have yet to set a date for their wedding, at least that we're aware of.
Last year, "I'm The One" debuted at No. 1 on the Hot 100, making it the first rap song to launch at the top spot since Eminem's "Not Afraid" in 2011. Since then, both Drake and Childish Gambino have seen songs debut at No. 1. Will "No Brainer" pull off the same feat? We should know very shortly. Watch the video for the track below.
