Giannis has a lot of respect for Curry.

Giannis Antetokounmpo and LeBron James are this year's all-star team captains. On February 7th, they will be drafting their teams which will compete in the annual NBA All-Star game on February 17th. After the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Brooklyn Nets 113-94 on Monday night, Giannis spoke to reporters about the all-star draft and why he is thinking of taking Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry with his first pick.

"I might pick Steph because he picked me first last year, so I have to return the favor," Antetokounmpo said according to ESPN. "After that, I think it is going to be random."

Giannis will have to hope Lebron doesn't take Curry first since James has the first overall pick. This was because LeBron received more votes than Antetokounmpo. The Bucks star was asked about his draft strategy and which players other than Curry he would pick. It seems as though Giannis is going for a team that reflects the league's rising stars.

"I am going to try to make a team that is going to play hard," Antetokounmpo explained. "I think I am going to go with the young players."

Are you looking forward to the all-star game or do you prefer the skills competition?
