The tragic murder of Lesandro Guzman-Feliz has gripped the entire city of New York and called for the "Justice For Junior" movement. So much so, that Twitter users have made it their raison d'ĂȘtre, calling upon celebrities to take up the cause. One particular solicitation proved more hostile than expected, when Twitter user with the handle Sweeetdemon urged Nicki Minaj to get with the program. The Tweet was ushered in response to Nicki posting about her efforts to financially aid XXXTentacion's family, a fundraising mission she undertook with Lil Uzi Vert.
The fan simply asked "How about #JusticeForJunior @nickiminaj," an irksome question yes, but one Nicki could have evaded had it not been for a seemingly defensive posture she's had to adopt towards her fans of late. Nicki came for the fan, asking her why she didn't challenge Lil Uzi Vert to do the same, bringing up the question of black women not doing battle with one another, for the sake of racial harmony. She said, "Only know how to get some likes in a comment section off other black women right sis?" Nicki then challenged the fan to show her what amount she had donated to the "Justice For Junior" movement, and only then would she feel obliged to speak on the issue.
