Brockhampton is ready to drop new music. The self-appointed boy band was rocked with a scandal earlier this year, when founding member Ameer Vann was accused of mental and emotional abuse by several women. It was also revealed that Vann had a relationship with an underage girl. Brockhampton proceeded to kick Vann out of their group, cancel their tour, and regroup into the comfort of each other's company. The boy band also shelved their two albums Team Effort and Puppy. Now, de facto frontman Kevin Abstract has announced that the group's new project is on the way.
Brockhampton's Twitter posted a colorful inverted photo announcing the new album. "Brockhampton's 4th studio album will be released this September," reads the tweet. It also reveals the name of the new album, Iridescence, and the fact that the project was recorded in London. Abstract hopped on his Twitter to reveal more details. "Brand new music brand new feelings iridescence," he tweeted. "Not tryna lead anyone on or anything," he continued. "I just want us to keep making stuff we’re proud of and put it out when we’re ready i mean it from the bottom of my heart when i say thank you for your patience."
