One of the best debuts of this year is Lil Baby's Harder Than Ever album, writing him in among a crowded list of the top young rappers on the rise. With his ascension happening incredibly fast, the Quality Control artist is ready to take over Atlanta. While it will be a difficult task to achieve given the talent that the Georgia city houses, Baby has shown a potential to deliver when it counts. Case in point, the "Yes Indeed" rapper currently has three singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart simultaneously, further propelling him in an upward direction.
Any song that features Drake is bound to get you on the charts so the inclusion of "Yes Indeed" on the Billboard Hot 100 is not entirely surprising. However, Forbes reports that two additional cuts from Harder Than Ever appear on the list counting down the most popular 100 songs every week. While it had previously leaked, Baby's official collaboration with Southside, aptly titled "Southside," debuted at number 79 on the chart. Directly following was the rapper's collaboration with Gunna and Lil Uzi Vert as "Life Goes On" clocked in at number 80. The accomplishment comes after the album impressively debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200 earlier this week.
With QC fully backing him, we could be witnessing the rise of the next Atlanta star. If you haven't yet listened to Harder Than Ever, you can do so here.
