"Remind you, I'm in no beef right now. I'm in no beef. I'm into no type of publicity" - that was Tekashi 6ix9ine billing his new single a few days before it arrived last Sunday. Considering his track record of beefing with seemingly a new artist/internet personality every week, that was big coming from the self-proclaimed "King of New York." The single in question, the Nicki Minaj-assisted "FEFE," seems to be well on its way to success, debuting at #1 on our chart.
We've got a four-way tie for most appearances in the Top 10 this week, with Chris Brown, A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, and Quavo all showing up twice. New songs barely missing out on spots this week include Migos and DJ Durel's "Hot Summer" (#11), Mac Miller's "What's The Use?" (#12), Tory Lanez's "Numbers Out the Gym" (#13), and Juice WRLD's "Motions" (#14).
10. Agnez Mo & Chris Brown - Overdose
Chris Brown has been rumored to be dating Indonesian pop star Agnez Mo for several months now, and even if they haven't confirmed their relationship yet, they now have a collaboration to show for their time spent together. After being teased for weeks, "Overdose" debuts at #10.
9. YG Feat. A$AP Rocky - Handgun
YG's got a new album, Stay Dangerous, due out this coming Friday. Before the record arrives, he decided to hare one last taste of it in the form of the A$AP Rocky-assisted "Handgun," which was produced by 808 Mafia. This one debuts at #9.
8. Fat Joe & Dre Feat. Chris Brown - Attention
Breezy's second appearance of the week comes via a feature on "Attention," a pre-release single taken from Fat Joe's upcoming collaborative album with one-half of the veteran production duo Cool & Dre. This one debuts at #8.
7. Lil Uzi Vert - Introvert
Uzi's been plagued by leak all year, and this past week, two more dubiously "official" tracks arrived via WorldStar without comment from their creator. The first of the pair is "Introvert," the slower and spacier of the two, and it debuts at #7.
6. DJ Khaled Feat. Justin Bieber, Quavo & Chance The Rapper - No Brainer
DJ Khaled's starting to toll out another album, this one titled Father of Asahd, and with that announcement comes a new single from 4/5ths of the team that did "I'm The One" on his last album. The Bieber, Quavo, and Chance The Rapper-assisted "No Brainer" debuts at #6.
5. Migos - Swang (Remix)
The Migos may have exhausted their creative reserves with the overlong Culture II earlier this year, but they've certainly kept busy with solo features and remixes in the ensuing months. After topping the chart the past two weeks with their remix of Cardi B's "Drip," they returned this past week with a remix of Rae Sremmurd's 2016 hit "Swang." It debuts at #5.
4. Tyga - Swish
With the Offset-assisted "Taste," Tyga's got another hit on his hands. Looking to capitalize on the track hitting a new chart peak (#13) last week, he dropped off a new one by the name of "Swish." It debuts at #4.
3. A$AP Rocky & Tyler, The Creator - Potato Salad
Rocky and Tyler's friendship has been well-documented in the past, via collaborations, joint tours, and general clownery on social media, but now they're officially a duo. WANG$AP, as their joint venture is known, dropped their first track last week. "Potato Salad" debuts at #3.
2. Lil Uzi Vert - Everything Lit
The other new Uzi song," Everything Lit," is just as turnt as its title would indicate. Unsurprisingly, it's fared better than its companion "Introvert," debuting at #2.
1. Tekashi 6ix 9ine Feat. Nicki Minaj - FEFE
Tekashi's had a few #1s on our chart before, and "FEFE" continues to prove that he's one of the most popular artists on the site right now. While you're listening to this one though, take some time out and check this Valee verse from six months ago. Notice any similarities? Yeah, me too. "FEFE" debuts at #1.
