Cardi B Shares 1 Year Anniversary Pic Of Her Bedroom Wedding With Offset

It's officially been a year since they tied the knot.

Until earlier this year, no one knew that Cardi B and Offset were actually married. Offset proposed to her last fall on stage at a concert before people speculated that Cardi was pregnant with his child. Earlier this year, she confirmed that they had a lowkey marriage after he proposed. Today, she took to Instagram to celebrate their one year anniversary with a #TBT.

Cardi B shared a throwback photo to the day that Offset both proposed and married her. Although they were getting massive offers from major TV networks to televise their wedding, the two of them got married in their bedroom. 

"TBT ...September 20th," she captioned the photo. 

Despite Offset popping the question a month after he and Cardi B got married, it wasn't until earlier this year when people started cluing in. During the BET Awards earlier this summer, he referred to Cardi as his wife which made people wonder if they were already married. Shortly after, their marriage certificate surfaced online, confirming they date they got married. 

Cardi B later explained why she decided to keep everything under wraps.

"There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself. Getting married was one of those moments! Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn't want to lose each other." She wrote
