City Girls is rising out of Miami. With a feature on Drake's "In My Feelings," the duo was set for bigger things. However, setbacks are still part of their journey with one half of the formation serving time in jail. The girls are offering fans an exclusive look into their lifestyle and their struggle through a documentary powered by Mass Appeal called City Girls: Point Blank Period. The trailer, which features artists like Quavo and Meek Mill, is available for viewing after the jump.
The production seems to provide a candid illustration of the entertainers. JT, who turned herself into legal authorities in July, can be heard speaking on her view of illegal activities.
"Scamming gon give a bitch that lifestyle they want. I ain't gonna lie, like, that sh*t was a rush. Sometimes I miss it."
Yung Miami is also facing her own challenges. She recently got caught up in a legal battle with her baby daddy. Amidst all the drama, she continues to hold down the City Girls name while JT serves her prison sentence. The artist had been convicted of credit card fraud charges. Her lawyer was able to push back the start of her sentence thanks to her connection with Drake.
