Yelawolf and DJ Paul are working on a heavy metal and rock inspired collaborative album.

Yelawolf collaborated with drummer Travis Barker last white for their Psycho White EP, which was a rock-influenced project. The rock influence in Yelawolf's raps will continue, with the announcement of a new collaborative effort, this time with Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul.

Yelawolf posted the news on Instagram, saying he'll be using "ALL heavy metal and hard rock samples and inspiration." The Shady Records rapper says this will be an album, and although he didn't see it coming, he's happy it's happening. Read his Instagram message below.

"ZONED in Nashville .. The Legendary DjPaul of 3.6 @djpaulkom and I have decided to do an Album !! .. Using ALL heavy metal and hard rock samples and inspiration .. Between this project and CountryCousins with #BigKrit .. My plate is full .. And my catalog .. Is getting stronger ... Never saw this one coming .. Yelawolf is also working on another joint effort with Big K.R.I.T., called Country Cousins, although we haven't received an update on that in a minute.
