Netflix is petty.

Roseanne Barr is having a horrible week. The comedian hopped on Twitter and took shots at former president Barack Obama's senior adviser Valerie Jarrett, writing, "Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby." The crude and racist comparison was quickly deleted by Roseanne, but the damage was done. ABC canceled her show within hours. The comedian also erroneously tweeted about George Soros and Chelsea Clinton. Roseanne is a known Trump supporter, and her show showcased that state of mind with its jokes and storylines. Although the show did toe the line to some, it was never blatantly racist.

Netflix, the world leader in streaming entertainment, took to Twitter to throw shade at Roseanne's canceled show. Currently, Netflix streams a series called One Day At A Time, which is a reboot of a classic sitcom. The story is based on a Cuban-American family, and stars Rita Moreno, Justina Machado, and Isabella Gomez. "Reminder: @OneDayAtATime is a sitcom about a tight-knit, working class family that tackles extremely topical social issues in a smart and innovative way," wrote Netflix in a tweet. "Ya know, if you’re suddenly looking for a show like that…" It doesn't get much pettier than that.
