Kid Cudi nabs a guest spot on a new comedy series, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

We've seen Kid Cudi's acting chops in the now-cancelled "How To Make It In America" as well as an appearance on "The Cleveland Show," and while we await new music from the rapper we'll be seeing him act once more in a Fox comedy, "Brooklyn Nine-Nine."

The comedy centers around a diverse group of detectives in New York City, and Cudder will play an ex-con by the name of Dustin Whitman, whom Jake (played by Andy Samberg) believes robbed a jewelry store. You'll be able to catch him in the third episode of the new season.

The TV series premieres on September 17th on Fox.
